Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Baltimore, MD)

Fernwood Holdings is an inspection company in Baltimore with field technicians and lab staff, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our employee relations. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on scheduling. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with scheduling. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Baltimore. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
