Senior HR Business Partner - employee relations (Austin, TX)

Fernwood Ember Press is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on employee relations for customer orders, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 102 people based in Austin. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer orders. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer orders. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Austin. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
