Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Rochester, NY)

Lumen Beacon Housing manages affordable housing communities across Rochester. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 69 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on repair requests. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with repair requests. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
