Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Rochester, NY)

Summit Mill Arts Center Group is an arts centre in Rochester with a full calendar of events. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on volunteer programmes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with volunteer programmes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
