Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Rochester, NY)

Cedar Quarry Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Safety comes first on every shift. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on billing disputes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
