Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Cedar Fern Freight moves freight for manufacturers and retailers out of Austin. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on customer tracking. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with customer tracking. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
