Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

We are growing our team at Northwind Orchard Freight Group and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. Dispatch, drivers and warehouse staff talk to each other constantly. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on carrier rates. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with carrier rates. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Rochester. • We reply to every applicant.
