Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Stone Transit Planning and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. We value plain explanations. What you will do • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on survey data. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with survey data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for eight months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
