Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Amberfield Ember Financial is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for vendor spend, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Trust is the product, so accuracy and clarity matter. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on vendor spend. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with vendor spend. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • Remote-friendly, with quarterly visits in Buffalo. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
