Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (remote)

Westbrook Quarry Freight Group coordinates shipments and warehousing around Detroit. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. We reward reliability. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on claims. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with claims. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, mornings. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Detroit. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
