Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Providence, RI)

Fernwood Pine Markets Group operates grocery and general-merchandise stores around Providence. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 479 people based in Providence. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on store inventory. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Providence. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
