Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Cedar Wren Arts Center runs a venue and education programmes in Oakland. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on ticketing. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with ticketing. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
