Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

We are growing our team at Summit Ashton Foods and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Oakland. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on allergen controls. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with allergen controls. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Oakland. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
