Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Oakland, CA)

Westbrook Bright Press prints books, catalogues and packaging from its Oakland plant, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. Deadlines are tight and craftsmanship matters. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on print quotes. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with print quotes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Oakland, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
