Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Jackson, MS)

Summit Harbor Civic Services provides shared administrative services to local governments around Jackson, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 846 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on budget submissions. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with budget submissions. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Jackson, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
