Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Grand Rapids, MI)

Ironwood Ember Manufacturing is a Grand Rapids manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a small organisation of about 120 people based in Grand Rapids. What you will do • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on work orders. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with work orders. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Grand Rapids. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
