Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Grand Rapids, MI)

We are growing our team at Nova Lakeside Arts Center and adding a Senior HR Business Partner whose main responsibility will be compensation reviews. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on event logistics. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with event logistics. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Grand Rapids. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
