Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Grand Rapids, MI)

Ironwood Housing is looking for a Senior HR Business Partner. The job centres on compensation reviews for maintenance stores, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Collaboration with local agencies is constant. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on maintenance stores. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with maintenance stores. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Grand Rapids, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
