Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Des Moines, IA)

Bluepeak Cross Hospitality Group runs guest-focused properties across the Des Moines area. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. We work weekends and holidays and we make it fun. What you will do • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on food costs. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • SHRM or HRCI certification. • Experience with food costs. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Des Moines, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
