Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Chicago, IL)

Harborlight Oak Environmental Services serves homes and businesses with collection and disposal in Chicago. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Safety briefings happen every morning. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on collection routes. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. Nice to have • Experience with collection routes. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Chicago. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
