Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Chicago, IL)

Northwind Wren Telecom builds and runs fibre and wireless networks in the Chicago area, and we need a Senior HR Business Partner to lead our compensation reviews. You would join a large organisation of about 405 people based in Chicago. What you will do • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on outage reports. What we are looking for • Three or more years in HR. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Discreet, fair and direct. Nice to have • Experience with outage reports. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 20 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
