Senior HR Business Partner - compensation reviews (Charleston, SC)

Bluepeak River Water Authority supplies drinking water and treats wastewater for Charleston and nearby communities. We are hiring a Senior HR Business Partner to take on compensation reviews. Our work is invisible when it goes well, and we are proud of that. What you will do • Keep policies and records current and compliant. • Advise supervisors on attendance, performance and workplace concerns. • Investigate concerns fairly and document the outcome. • Support hiring and onboarding for teams that work on treatment plant data. • Handle leave, accommodation and benefits questions from start to finish. What we are looking for • Discreet, fair and direct. • Knowledge of employment law and leave rules. • Three or more years in HR. Nice to have • Experience with treatment plant data. • SHRM or HRCI certification. Working arrangement • Contract for three months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
