Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Virginia Beach, VA)

Northwind Sable Early Learning Group is an early-learning provider in Virginia Beach, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 36 people based in Virginia Beach. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of meal programmes and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with enrolment. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Virginia Beach, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
