Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (St. Louis, MO)

Ironwood Birch Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around St. Louis. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Model the cost of usage data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage response. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in St. Louis. • We reply to every applicant.
