Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Salt Lake City, UT)

We are growing our team at Cedar Fern Civic Services and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Salt Lake City. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, afternoons. • On site in Salt Lake City, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
