Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Rochester, NY)

Stonegate Ashton Civic Services works with county and city offices around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Public service means patience, paperwork and pride in the outcome. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with permits. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
