Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Rochester, NY)

Foxglove Beacon Water Authority operates treatment plants and pipelines around Rochester. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Crews and office staff work closely together. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of water quality and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with billing accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Rochester. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
