Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Rochester, NY)

Bluepeak Mill Energy supplies electricity and gas to homes and businesses around Rochester, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people based in Rochester. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with billing disputes. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Rochester, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We reply to every applicant.
