Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Westbrook Union Energy delivers power and gas plans across the Cleveland region. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of meter readings and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • Fully remote, with quarterly visits in Cleveland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
