Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Rivermark Vale Manufacturing Group is a Chicago manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 28 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of tooling and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with machine downtime. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Chicago. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
