Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Summit Quarry Transit Planning plans bus and rail service for cities around Jackson. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 88 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with accessibility audits. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • Fully remote, with an occasional day on site in Jackson. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
