Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Summit Union Legal Group provides legal services in Providence across employment, housing and small-business law. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 70 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of court deadlines and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with trust accounts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, mornings. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Providence. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
