Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Amberfield Harbor Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. We like people who ride the bus and notice when things do not work. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with accessibility audits. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Cleveland. • We reply to every applicant.
