Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Foxglove Quill Banking Services is a regional lender in Austin with branches and a growing mobile service, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a large organisation of more than 1,000 people, working mostly from home. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of branch operations and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with fraud alerts. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, with flexible days. • Remote-friendly, with an occasional day on site in Austin. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
