Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Northwind Meridian Foods Associates produces packaged foods at its Seattle plant. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Shifts are steady and overtime is planned. What you will do • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with production batches. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, afternoons. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Seattle. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
