Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (remote)

Ironwood Ridge Early Learning is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for licensing records, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. Children come first and so does looking after the teachers. What you will do • Model the cost of licensing records and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with tuition and subsidies. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with a review at the end and a chance of extension. • Fully remote, with a monthly team day in Virginia Beach. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
