Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Raleigh, NC)

We are growing our team at Fernwood Quarry Telecom and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 81 people based in Raleigh. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Model the cost of network equipment and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with outage reports. Working arrangement • Contract for twelve months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Raleigh. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
