Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Oakland, CA)

Summit Orchard Telecom is a telecommunications provider in Oakland focused on reliable home and business connections. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. Technicians and office staff share information daily. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Model the cost of field visits and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with customer tickets. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 16 hours a week, with flexible days. • On site in Oakland. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
