Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Minneapolis, MN)

Fernwood West Energy is an energy provider in Minneapolis focused on reliable service and fair billing. We are hiring a Senior Financial Analyst to take on variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 11 people based in Minneapolis. What you will do • Model the cost of hardship programmes and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with billing disputes. Working arrangement • Full-time, on a regular day shift. • On site in Minneapolis. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
