Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Madison, WI)

Northwind Timber Manufacturing manufactures parts and assemblies at its Madison plant, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. Many of our supervisors started on the floor. What you will do • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of work orders and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with customer orders. • A relevant degree or certification.
