Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Kansas City, MO)

Fernwood Wren Banking Services is a community-focused bank in Kansas City serving households and small businesses, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We promote from within and train well. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of deposit accounts and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • Experience with loan files. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Full-time, Monday to Friday. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
