Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Kansas City, MO)

We are growing our team at Westbrook Pike Learning Group and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 17 people based in Kansas City. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of learning materials and recommend where to save. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with family communication. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Kansas City. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
