Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Jackson, MS)

Foxglove Drift Civic Services is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for permits, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 847 people based in Jackson. What you will do • Model the cost of permits and recommend where to save. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists.
