Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Jackson, MS)

Harborlight Nest Markets serves neighbourhoods around Jackson with fresh food and everyday goods, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with store inventory. Working arrangement • Contract for four months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Jackson. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
