Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Hartford, CT)

Clearpath Sable Water Authority Partners is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for billing accounts, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a small organisation of about 65 people based in Hartford. What you will do • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with water quality. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 24 hours a week, spread across three days. • On site in Hartford, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
