Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Fort Worth, TX)

We are growing our team at Foxglove Rook Insurance and adding a Senior Financial Analyst whose main responsibility will be variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 49 people based in Fort Worth. What you will do • Model the cost of underwriting files and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with claims. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Fort Worth, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
