Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Des Moines, IA)

Clearpath Hollow Transit Planning is looking for a Senior Financial Analyst. The job centres on variance reporting for survey data, and it would suit someone who likes steady, practical work. You would join a large organisation of about 975 people based in Des Moines. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. • Model the cost of survey data and recommend where to save. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with fare systems.
