Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Chicago, IL)

Silverline Juniper Civic Services Partners supports public agencies in Chicago with budgeting, records and programmes, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. We follow procedures carefully and explain them clearly. What you will do • Model the cost of budget submissions and recommend where to save. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Support pricing and investment decisions with careful analysis. What we are looking for • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. Nice to have • Experience with procurement. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Contract for six months, with clear deliverables from the first week. • On site in Chicago. • We reply to every applicant.
