Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Charlotte, NC)

Fernwood Vale Manufacturing Group is a Charlotte manufacturer supplying regional industrial customers, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would join a small organisation of about 41 people based in Charlotte. What you will do • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. • Model the cost of customer orders and recommend where to save. • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. Nice to have • Experience with production lines. • A relevant degree or certification. Working arrangement • Part-time, about 28 hours a week, mornings. • On site in Charlotte, with some flexibility after the first few months. • Applications are reviewed on a rolling basis.
