Senior Financial Analyst - variance reporting (Charleston, SC)

Cedar Umber Legal Group is a Charleston practice with attorneys, paralegals and client-service staff, and we need a Senior Financial Analyst to lead our variance reporting. You would work closely with colleagues in operations, support and management. What you will do • Explain monthly variances in plain language for managers. • Model the cost of trust accounts and recommend where to save. • Build and update budgets and rolling forecasts with department leads. • Automate recurring reports so they take hours, not days. • Prepare board and lender packs with clear charts. What we are looking for • Advanced Excel skills; SQL or BI experience helps. • Two to five years in financial analysis or a similar role. • Comfort presenting numbers to people who are not finance specialists. Nice to have • A relevant degree or certification. • Experience with client files. Working arrangement • Contract for nine months, with the possibility of becoming permanent. • On site in Charleston, with some flexibility after the first few months. • We will tell you what to expect at each step of the hiring process.
